Ganga Puja: Ganga Puja is a festival of the rice celebrated after Navanna in the month of March-April every year. This is another important tribal festival. Ganga, as we know is one of the fourteen deities of the land. Like Garia Puja, Ganga is a community festival too. People gather by the roverside, peel three piece of bamboo into beautiful flowers and then the villagers build a temple with bamboos in the middle of the stream. The traditional rituals take place amidst joy and splendour. It is believed that if God is offered sacrifice of buffaloes, goats and ganders he would save people from any epidemic
