Coconut ki barfi:

 

Ingrediants

Quantity

Coconut shreads

2 cup

Sugar

1 cup

Water

1 ½ cup

Milk

2 tsp

Ghee

1 tbsp

Cardomom powder

½ tsp

 

 

Method of preparation:

 

·        To start with roast the coconut shreads in a heated pan.

·        In a separate utencil boil water and sugar to prepare a  sugar syrup.

·        To the boiling sugar syrup add milk and coconut shreads.

·        Stir continuously till the syrup and ingredients make a thich paste

·        Then add cardamom and ghee.

·        When the mixture seems enough thickened, take it out in a flat plate or pan.

·        Allow it to dry.

·        Cut the pieces in the shape desired.

·        Barfi is ready.
