The Beneshwar Fair is held at Beneshwar Dham, near the picturesque Som, Mahi and Jakham river confluence in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan. Reaching this sacred tribal gathering may take some planning, especially for first-time visitors, since the site is in a rural area with limited direct transport options.

By Air

The nearest major airport is Maharana Pratap Airport (Dabok) near Udaipur, approximately 130 km from Beneshwar Dham. From Udaipur Airport, taxis or private vehicles can be hired to reach Sabla village or directly to the fair site.

By Train

There is no railway station at Beneshwar Dham itself. The closest railway station is Dungarpur Railway Station, about 37 km away. From Dungarpur, you can take a taxi or a local bus toward Sabla or the fair site.

By Road

Road travel is the most common way to reach Beneshwar Fair:

  • Bus: State-run and private buses operate to Sabla village, which lies on the route connecting Udaipur, Banswara, and Dungarpur. Sabla acts as the main drop-off point for visitors heading to the fair.

  • Distances from Nearby Towns: Sabla is around 123 km from Udaipur, 53 km from Banswara, 45 km from Dungarpur, and about 22 km from Aspur (a local administrative town).

  • Walking/Local Transport: From Sabla bus stand, Beneshwar Dham is only about 6–7 km away. You can walk this stretch, hire a local cart, or often find shared vehicles available during fair days.

  • Special Festival Transport: During the fair, additional buses and special transport services may run by Rajasthan Roadways or private operators to handle the large crowds.

Tips for the Final Stretch

Since the Dham sits in a quieter rural area, regular public transport may not go all the way to the riverside fairground. Visitors should plan for the short walk or local rides from Sabla to the fair, or arrange a taxi from Dungarpur or Udaipur ahead of time.
