The opening ceremony of this much awaited Goa ceremony will happen on 1 March at Dayanand Bandodkar Marg, Near Old secretariat, Panaji. Catch a glimpse of King Momo along with his followers with a parade of floats and all glittery and excited participants.

Amidst all the fun and excitement, there is also a food and cultural festival held at the carnival between 1 March 2014 and 4 March 2014 to treat your taste buds. Visitors and participants can enjoy exquisite cousins in the carnival.
This carnival offers entertaining music performances by likes of Raghu Dixit Project, Strings, Soulmate and the best Goan bands. There will be music concerts held at Colva and Baga. So, groove to the beat of your favorite music at this Goa carnival.
Participating in contests and competitions meant for fun, adds on to the carnival spirit. So, there will be a yummy cooking competition at the event where you can show your cooking skills and take away the prize. The competition will then be followed by the awards night and a fashion show.
Also, there will be a lot of firework shows held on all four days of the carnival that will woo people attending the carnival.
